Wow, seriously, I am rather impressed with myself! I made my own Blog Button!! Cause I rock! Playing around with code & all that crap, damn I’m good! Next step, to make my scroll box with the code for others to grab it….which I have already done, but it won’t publish in the code, it translates it in to the button when I try to post it….some crap about java script or something, but none of my widgets seem to have that option. So for now I give up….it’s enough that the code is written & saved, the rest can wait for another day. Besides, if you think you’re lost, it’s all Geek to me too & my eyeballs are bleeding from muddling through this far….& I only gave it a shot in the first place so I could submit my blog to a listing/voting site that needs to be able to grab that code off my page….first it was “hide secret code in a post, baffle your readers, verify your site“, now it‘s “muddle with code until your brain explodes, & annoy your readers with pics of this button all over your page in the process of making said button, so we can verify your site”! Holy frik, whatever happened to, “Here’s my link, click on it! Oh look, an actual site!”. Done, verified! I think they do it just to mess with people, those secret codes all probably mean something in “geek” language, like “Hey look, we suckered another dolt in to putting random crap on their site! HAHAHAHAHA”….laugh it up chuckleheads! As for the rest of Crazy Town, Sunday was again rather uneventful….
The Good Ol’ Hockey Game!
The One We Screwed Up, the boy, played one of his last playoff hockey games this morning. Given the Spring Forward, it was a little earlier than I prefer to have to drag my sorry ass out of bed, but you gotta know I wouldn’t miss it! So off we went, & the team kicked butt to win 4-2. This puts us in line for the A Cup finals in a couple of weeks, against my son’s buddies from school & the big “rivalry” of the season! SWEET! Currently they are one point ahead of us. If we lose next weekend & the team BELOW us wins, that ties us for 2nd place in the finals, so it will then come down to goals for/against I assume, to determine who goes in to the A game for all the hardware, glory, & gloating!! If, however, we win or tie next week, we are guaranteed that spot against the boy’s friends. It’s all very 
exciting! Because, sadly, I have no frikkin’ life…however, I so enjoy the chance to see these boys all together, the rivalry is fun & friendly given that they have known each other since Kindergarten, & quite frankly, if we wound up losing 1st place in the finals, I at least wouldn’t be so terribly disappointed to see it go to his friends, & kids we know well….but I will be whispering “win dammit!” in his ear as he sleeps…for the next 2 weeks straight….cause that’s how I roll.
Take It Outside!
Back to Crazy Town, & an hour running my short order kitchen as I dole out 5 different lunches. Apparently when I put my makeup on in the mirror this morning, I missed the big sign on my forehead that said “Flaming Idiot”. Spoiled little buggers. All that annoyance with myself & the
sleep I lost had me nodding off over my own lunch, so I snuck off for a nap, gearing up for a week straight with the kidlets home. The One I Butt Heads With & The Diva are off to Tumbling Camp at the cheer gym first thing in the morning for the day….if they enjoy it, they can decide if they want to go any other days, however the rest of the week is calling for 60 degree weather & sunshine, so we may just forgo any & all indoor activities in favour of kicking their little butts outside for some fresh air & exercise! Either way, the week will fly by, as “vacation” time always does, but I’m excited for any extra time with them while they are all still young enough to actually want to spend it with Mommy….because sooner or later, I’m bound to be replaced by people much cooler than I, who probably DO have a life!

I felt the need to come back & add to this post….cause I DID IT!! Check it, wrote MY OWN CODE for my award so I could post it at the side, AND figured out the whole java script/code struggle….I translated it….yep, now I’m a code translator….except I didn’t understand the geek speak before OR after I supposedly translated it….but all that matters is that my computer did!!

ok soooooo Mayer…I know you will appreciate this one! hehe. My youngest of my gaggle of gals decides that on friday evening she would like to attend her fist dance. Slight panic attack on my part. There will be BOYS there lol! She proceeds to pick out an outfit and asks me to do her hair for her. About 20 minutes before we are ready to leave her and her BFF decide to apply sparkles to themselves. Needless to say my bathroom floor still has sparkles on it! They ended up looking like human disco balls! lol The wee one had so many sparkles plastered to her scalp that i’m sure she’ll still have some there when she’s 18 ahahhahahaaaa Have a good day

OK, you have thrown the gauntlet down …I feel the need to create my own blog button now. I think I need to start with Photoshop first, for many reasons. This may take some time considering the kids are on spring break and keep track of them. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Code? Widgets? Java script? Calgon, take me away! I can barely turn my computer on and figure out when it’s upside down.
We had nine kids over today. Can you say Little Caesar’s five-dollar hot and ready pizza times 3?
Congratulations… you are a better person… I have been hiding from the whole button code thingy mabob …good to see it can be done.

OHHHH Stacy, I can just see it!!! LOL!! I’m so glad I have you one step ahead of me to give me the heads up on all these things!! Funny, The Tooth Fairy was here last week, & I STILL have pixie dust all over my house, & yes, a sparkly cat or two! That crap is hard to get rid of LOL! Thnx for sharing!!
And no worries ladies, as daunting as it seemed, I found this fantastic blog with a complete step-by-step, all dumbed down for me, including all the links needed for the code, the scroll box, & the “translator” LOL….but really, take it ONE STEP AT A TIME!!! I got myself all turned around trying to look at the project as a whole & getting ahead of myself, so I finally just went back to the beginning, & started with step 1….make your pic. (I just used Windows paint to gussy up The Mayor a bit LOL!), & save it to your hard drive…ok, DONE! Step 2….well, you get the point!! Here are the links for the guide I used, & now I am able to “code” any jpeg in to HTML to add it to my widgets & throw it on my sidebar! SWEET! Good Luck, pls let me know if you give it a shot so I can check out your new buttons!! These 3 links had me covered, start to finish!!
