For those of us who have “been there, done that”, & for those of you have suffered along with the process, you’ll know that pregnancy is a roller coaster ride of hormonal highs & lows. From clinically depressed, to “that spin cycle’s lookin’ pretty good right now!” to, “I hope you’re not allergic to nuts, ’cause I’m about to kick yours right up in to your throat!”, in a matter of moments…several times a day. I’ve endured a grand total of 42 months of this, not including the post partum phase, which as we all know, can be far worse! According to my son, since I’m too pretty to do math, that’s 3 & 1/2 YEARS worth of having absolutely no control whatsoever over my emotional state. But now that it’s no longer me behaving like a complete f**king nut job, I’ve come to greatly appreciate the inherent humour behind it. So for this week’s edition of the @$#*%! Friday!, may I present, for your entertainment, my favourite TV moments of all time! Highly entertaining if you’ve never been, or lived with, a pregnant woman, laugh your f**king ass off hilarious if you have!
Happy weekend, & Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians! I will be giving thanks for adding to my October sunburn with this fabulous weather, enjoying an extra day with my kidlets, & celebrating the birthdays of old friends…& the fact that I am not a hormonal nut job! OMG I love that, “Baby’s arm is sticking out, why don’t you high five it!” I laughed and am still laughing because I’m pretty sure my first born reached out to grab a chicken wing while I was in labour.
Happy thanksgiving! Yup, we’re getting terrific weather here in Winnipeg, which is a blessing because usually we’re out sledding by now (not really, but almost).
Love that your son thinks you’re too pretty to do math. Ya, that works! See if you can get away with that line if you ever have a problem making a bill payment, “Sorry Hydro, I wasn’t aware I owed that. I’m too pretty to do math!”
I was lucky that Mr. CB didn’t kill my emotionally insane ass while pregnant… Picture THIS… PREGNANT. Fuck me. No good.

I hadn’t seen the Desperate Housewives one. Freakin’ awesome. My husband once drove across town to get me a pizza when the power was out in our end so none of the places could cook one. Oh, while I was pregnant. Wow, that would have been strange and embarrassing if I’d forgotten to add that.

LOVE those clips. Thank goodness I am done with the pregnancy roller coaster, and now I just get another 15 or so years of the monthly one! We just can’t win.
